Bit of a let down as the rims i want only come in 8 inch Back on the hunt for rims again

No worries, as I said I was working on it today anyhow. 15x8 +0 can be done if you like agressive fitments and are prepared to do alot of gaurd work.
My advice is buy a 15x8 +0 steel wheel - they're about $75, and a cheap tyre the size you want and trial fit to see exactly what you're in for.
