hmm im getting mixed answers,

I just read the datsun 1200 manual (should be similar to a 120y) and it says to use sealant.

not sure what to do.

O'Brians used sealant on my windscreen...
...also said the top corners would 'go down' once they had been in the sun for a while, 2 years on and they are still not settled.

No sealant

and I can't vouch for leaks or not as it's in the project car which has not seen weather in 3 years (and I just got the screen installed recently)

I used Mornington Auto glass (actually in Tyabb)for Kermit. They charged $265 including the front screen and quoted $150 if I supplied the screen and rubber. They quoted the same for the rear screen and this includes the fitting of the chrome.

I think they did a good job.... it depends upon where you are in Melbourne

i will give it a shot this weekend and im going to use sealant aswell i just dont want it to leak

Do you know if the datsun manual states to use sealant or not?
