does any one hav a pic of a 180b cus my mum used to hav one but that was a wile back like ages like i was in yr4 and we sold it for scrap cus it got stolen and we decided it had reached its used by date and so we got $50 and they got a 180b with a fine motor and decent panels except the back bumpa and the back end of the car so yer im trying to say does any one hav a pi of one cus i might buy one as a cheaps alternative to a 1200 and what motor was in them i think it was a L- series and wat out put did it have sorta in the meaning of horse power and compared to a A-12

i caan tell you the motor is an L-18, with closer to 100hp, more powerfull but heavier obviously motor than a-series

Alternative to the 1200? Are you trying to offend some of us 1200 fans? Seriously, there are other Web sites for other Datsuns. This one is about 1200s and to some extent its brothers the 1000 and the newer Sunnys. Just go to http://au.yahoo.com/ and search for Datsun 180B or whatever you are interested in.

The reasons the 1200 is the best Datsun are many: lightweight, great handling, excellent and smooth engines, etc. The 180B is a different kind of car, it's OK, but it's not a 1200.
