Sorry dont know what happened and dont have access to my old
engine pics atm as Dell Lappy HDD died suddenly without warning. These samples show just clean paint and alloy, nothing overdone just simple and timeless applications you wont get tired of and suits that classic car feel yet saving $ towards other areas Ive painted the engine on what is now Bennys kb10 coupe all in black even the head which looked very nice with new leads, stainless bolts and nuts throughout etc. cost was elbow grease. ![]() ![]() ![]() http://owenauto.ca/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/IMG_8484.jpg http://www.davimarr.talktalk.net/1966mg/45.jpg https://c3.staticflickr.com/7/6125/6207901075_d22518e381_b.jpg

Beautiful work there someone should be proud of what they have achieved, and it shows that done right one does not have to go the modern way and bling something up to really make it look great.

Very cool pics. I do like the the solid colour but it's not for me...on this build anyway.
Car is eventually going to be charcoal silver. For the engine, I'm going with mostly black and chrome. Thinking of getting the rocker cover hydro dipped in carbon fibre pattern for something different. I'll chrome certain things such as timing cover, water pump, alternator; water outlet. Tidy wiring and hoses. Might try to pick up some bling with HPC coated Intel manifold and turbo manifold, stainless bolts, braided lines and anodized fittings. That's the plan anyway.
