Hi, I have an A15 motor and I am putting into my 1200 sedan. Just before I start I want to make sure I haven't left anything out. I picked up a '81 1200 ute for $100 for the x member to swap over. Will I need a bigger raditor? Will it be a straight swap over? I don't really want any problems half way through the job

hey howsit goin?

i have a 1200 coupe and im doing a engine swap to a A15...it will fit but you have to modify the engine mounts, (not sure if u already knew that)...im sorry but im not sure if you have to move them forward or back but its something like 2 inchs i think...im just going to wait until i pull my A12 out and then line them up against each other and then do some measurements

but yea im not sure if thats any help or not but also i think that the radiator is all good...but im not sure i have to check again...but im not sure if the altinator is on the other side from the A15(on the drivers side) to the A12 (on the passenger side) but if so i was jus going to lengthen the wires

but then if you use the 1200 ute crossmember...is should be all good and go right in as i have been told...its just the mounts that are in the right place

sweet good luck with ur transplant
c u
