EFI or Carby

Hi Guys,
I am pretty sure this post has been discussed before. My appologies for reposting, was not able to find it. I am restoring my 1200 ute with a stock A12 engine. Looking for some advice with EFI conversion. Is it expensive? is it simple? and is it worth doing it? EFI would probably be better with fuel but is it worth it? Thanks again for all your advice/suggestion. Kind regards, Ron

Well if your goal is restoration then it must be carbureted, as EFI was never offered on the A12.
If you don't mind a modified vehicle, then EFI is cheap and easy (about $2500 + $500 for tuning)

Thanks DD, can A12 be modified for EFI? is it an easy modification? Has anyone in this forum tried doing it?

No mods are needed for EFI, just bolt the stuff on.
Then your ute will no longer be restored, which means returned to original condition.
