thanks, guys.... you are correct on the rotary engine price.. they are up the roof these days looking to have at least 450rwhp with my projected set up. the only bad part is getting people to work on the car. so far my best luck will be sending the car to Puerto Rico, since they are being working on them for the longest. just to give you and idea, to have the mini tub done they want 4k. this is not including the differential or and every parts need it. I wont imagine how much the might ask to paint the car completely. the car will be paint a different blue from the 2010 Subaru Impreza,

reliable for high hp and racing but super expensive these days
and BTW I look young enough to be your grand son DD :)

8 inch ford Mustang and other models are a good choice
a bit lighter and take heaps of pushishment like the hilux
but unlike Hilux strange alloy and others make alloy centres
and other billet bits, lockers, lsds etc.

I had a rotary in my old 1000, was too slow and when I tried
to engineer it but ran out of time in the end not to mention
got caught driving it by the fuzz when testing it mildy :)

Had various rotary mazda cars up to 15 years ago and would
love them again but hard to ignore a good 4 cyl these days.
SR20VET is so cheap in the US, I would not look the other way.
They are commanding big prices now in JPN.
They command what a couple of rotary housings go for these days.
Way more reliable and can do big skids on all 4 tires on heavy Xtrails

Hilux was sold in America. It was marketed as Toyota Pickup. In 1995 the Tacoma replaced it.

But why bother. You know how to build a top-notch rotary 1200.

Wow. Go for it again!

Reminds me of this Texas rotary that I considered buying. Instead I bought a 1200 pickup.
