David,
Good morning. This is Roger from southern California. Don't need rear shocks as you note from your previous message but front strut cartridges for my '72,1200. So do you know their KYB number or any other part number for them? They are the 45mm diameter cartridge. The gentleman in Australia who has them for sale never responded. Thanks for your assistance. Hope I don't sound like a broken record in tis matter.

Hi Roger
There is no need to introduce yourself every time you post. All the info is right there to read, plus the people following this thread will know who you are and what's been said. You can click on a person's name to the left and you can see their profile. It might have an email, websites or other info to help you contact someone outside this website. It's very normal for people to come on here once a month. There is lots of info in the "Tech Wiki" section on this site Wiki Strut alternatives all about what your trying to achieve and Google is always your friend. I would recommend an alternative 45mm strut, if you click the link above, it's all there. You need to think about if you ever wanted to lower your car. If you go lower than 2 inches (I think) you will need a shorter strut insert anyway. Also think about a strut conversion. Better brakes and a bigger range of shocks, plus you won't have this same problem in the future. Goodluck Gav

Finally received new strut cartridges from England.
However, now have another issue. Help!!! I go through alternators on my 1200 like once every two years. Was told to change the regulator as well. It, however, has a harness with 6 wires where the wiring from the car has 4 attached to its harness. How do I attach them? But last night spoke to a young man who is the only one I know in Orange County that has a 1200. He has a alternator with its voltage regulator inside it. He suggested I write to you. So as an alternative, instead of installing the standard alternator and regulator what other alternator with its own regulator do you recommend I swap? Thanks for any suggestions.
