i have met you once but you are mistaking me for mark pacey, he now has a yellow coupe with ca18 turbo & supercharged. the rear spoiler is steve's model but the front is from spon fibreglass in canberra. my rear springs are kings reverse eyes which i have had since a15 days but were modded by fulcrum to eliminate axle tramp once borg warner lsd was fitted.they did a pretty good job but i had to tell them what to do in the end to get the best results

i do exchange crossmember for motor for $150, gearbox crossmember for either auto or manual tunnel for $50. wiring is most expensive for labour side approx $500 but that includes mounting of silvia instruments and modifying 1200 harness to be a plugin item with eccs wiring. i use just about everything from the frontcut and so all you need to pay for is tailshaft (approx $200), modify 1200 struts to accept silvia brakes $100, misc hoses , fuel line etc approx $400, intercooler & plumbing can vary extensively but even if you use the stock intercooler there is some cost for plumbing it in approx $100. exhaust $700-$800. fuel system can get up to $400 but there are a number of variations for it as well, my latest method is to fit r31 sedan tank with in tank pump.
basically to get a conversion done without wheels, tyres & paint you would need between $6000 ( if you do a lot yourself) to $10000 for everything including custom i/c , lsd diff etc.it adds up quite quickly but most guys forget that once they have driven one

thanks for your kind comments. you would really appreciate my sedan. you won't believe this but i was given this car by an old lady of 76 who could no longer drive it. it was bought by her & her husband in august 1971, it has never been over 80kph in its life and is to say the least perfect. her husband died 23 years ago and she only used it twice a week to go shopping. a genuine 71000 mile car! when i get some pickies of it i will post them

Can't wait to see pics of your sedan. I doubt if there are any original low-mile sedans left in the US. Mine had 50k miles in 1982, but by the time I put an additional 200k miles on it it rusted out.

yeah, sorry Kev, it was Mark I was thinking of. I'm thinking of getting them to make up a set of reverse eye leaves for me, primarily to increase the rear spring rate so i can get rid of the BIG swaybar I have to run on the rear at the moment, and also to improve the pinion angle and hopefully get a bit better start line traction.

Hi kev long time no see hows your 1200 going these days??? Has Mark rebuilt his twin charged CA yet?? last i heard he had it in bits. My new engine with all teh goodies has ionly had 1500km on it the car is in pieces so i cant wait to get a new ECU a tune and some boost up her guts last power run was 190kw @ wheels with 18psi and pump fuel before the last engine freshen & bottom end beef up. The plan is 25psi on avgas for drag work 15-18psi and optimax for street duties
