That's the go! If I could get it to look that cool I'd be pretty happy. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself though. This ute needs a lot of work. They look like Rays TE37V's , could be 17's??

Cheaper option is Rota Grid Classic - copy of TE37V. Cast not forged, and 1/4 the price. 15x7, 8 and 9" available locally.

Excellent - high compression solves the lag problem. Unfortunately E85 is not sold where I live but if you can get it, go for it!

I'm sure he will make the ute fit him.

He used to have a nice straight lpg ute.

Unfamilia also knows there is a 2 metre tall heavily built member here that somehow fits into his. I always wanted a 1200 ute but only if it had a separate chassis... hint hint...its got to be engineered for boost anyways ;)

here is the right fit and proper front double wishbone setup
not pogo stick front suspension later can use tubular A arms

I do fit in a ute, but it does take a bit of stretching after a long drive! Thanks Harry for the Rota option. I'm starting to rethink the big wheel thing, I don't want too much attention from the establishment..

I've been doing a bit of research regarding 6 speed gear boxes. I want something that is cheap and bullet proof. So far the best box I can find is the P66M box from the 2010 RX8 and Mx5. It is going to be an engineering challenge to make it fit the A series.

The Ratios are:
1st,3.815 2nd 2.260, 3rd 1.640, 4th 1.177, 5th 1, 6th .787

This should allow me to use 4.8:1 rear gears and still only be at 4k RPM at 110kmh on the freeway.

That I believe is the same box as a Nissan S15 6-speed -- Aisin AZ6. See 6-speed for more info.

Here's one modded for A-series.
