Looking for a coilover kit or already made coilovers for my 120Y

Coil-over-strut. Any rate spring is available. You can lower the spring seat and/or adjust camber.





For maximum camber adjustment, get small-diameter springs, Ground Control has fully adjustable kits for $219 USD a pair. Get their 1200 kit which works with 1200 and 120Y.

Hey dd what's a good Spring rate for daily driving in a 1200 ute?

92 lbs/in is a great rate for comfort and control. Use a high quality strut shock valved for the 1200 -- like the Nissan unit available from Bprojects or new-datsun-parts

If you have lowered the ute, then you'll want a higher rate spring so that it won't bottom out so easily. If you have lowered the ute 3" then you'll probably want 250 lbs/in

my friend made some coil overs with these and had s13 camber tops machined to fit with gold mk1 shocks
whats your opinion on that ?

Mad Dat perhaps makes the best Tops for Datsun 1200/120Y, although the Noltec above-bell units won't raise your car up.

Vw inserts are no longer available I use n10 pulsar.
I also have cambertops to suit 1200 from techno toy tuning

Just finished fitting the units I got from supafatto using the N10 inserts (80mm shorter) with no preload , helper springs and adj strut tops.
Handles great now.
