I have an L20b to put into the 120Y, and i have access to a few wrecked Stanza's for bits such as engine mount crossmember horns etc.
IIRC car will be in Class B as its over 1600cc. My local track is Bagshot located in central Victoria, it suits lighter cars. I currently run my LS1 Commo there just for kicks, but it's like taking a bazuka to a gun fight. As the car is only a club car I am not really looking to spend MCA type money on shocks, I have a chassis projects more suited to that investment, and at this stage I will most likely use KYB or imported Bilstein. Issue has been most info out there on the other forums are for 510/A10 weight vehicles, though mine with an L20b probably would be back in the ball park! I've spent many years working in the motorsport industry (fabricator), but most of it has been with asphalt open wheel type stuff so I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to dirt. Dirt is rather addictive too! I'm studing in a different field at the minute and I weld off-road 2wd extreme buggies for pocket money, so progress isn't fast when it comes time to buy stuff!
Might nearly be time to call a few vendors for their recommendations.
