Inspiration Car:
Okay, So today i bought my very first Datsun. Loaded up on Trailer and is now in my shed.
Few More Pics As is.
Mig Welder Arrived: ( Took 2 days to arrive after payment).
Tried on my Rims.
Got some Ride Height going on ( to cheap for stands )
Found another jack, Is this the original one from 1973?
Project Underbody, Supplies Rust and a little bit of ouch.
Quick run through for anyone that wants to know how i did it,
Sanded/wire brushed Surfaces, then used wax and grease remover, then put on safety stuff glasses, mask and gloves.
then brush or spray on Rust Converter. Wait 30+ mins. Get a damp wet cloth and wipe over surface, then wipe over again with methylated spirits.
"Safety gear is a must :D the Rust Converter Stung me! got a few small burn marks on hand"
Okay, So i took a mid distance photo because there is small bits and pieces i couldn't cover properly.
(tried spraying it on but i spilled it out of gun not enough room underneath needs to be on a rotator or stands, so i used a sponge and wiped it on)
Started taking off the small pieces, trim, headlights, mirror, wipers, guard bolts.
Turns out my headlight brackets are funky...
All the wiring is Loose and labeled except for dash, guards removed, seats removed, Indicators removed.
"What is the black thing in the red box, do i need to replace it??"
Problem...
Not alot of progress, took out air conditioning box thingy.
Buuuuut i found something really cool in my glove department.
oh and Steering wheel doesnt want to come off lol
and its off :x
a bigger collection of labeled parts
Dash has been removed prety good condition, all wiring has been labeled.
Havent updated in about 2 weeks, Here is a photo as of current.
Bought a Dremel and got trolled.

Here is what i want it to look like after painted.
Front End, Rust repairs done. No holes only surface rust.
#Note,
-make sure there is a pin hole on the spray guns cap.
-clean out measuring container properly or the new mixture will clean some of it and leave lumpy bits in ur new primer :(
