There is enough material to drill a hole crossways and bolt the clamp to the rail. I usually weld the clamps to the fuel rail when I've got it set where I want it.
(edit)Picture-> http://www.rossmachineracing.com/imag ... injassmwithinjectors4.jpg The square (exhaust) ports just show the detail better than the oval (intake) ports, that's why I posted that particular picture. All 16 ports are lofted like that. I'm going to do a more formal write-up when I get closer to being finished. I'll have dimensions and CAD drawings and I might even make a few sets to sell if there is enough interest. I don't want to give a lot of detail since I change my mind a lot.

PM me your email address if you want those drawings. I can send them in pretty much any format.

Thanks for the info, looks like my first guess will work with those clamps then.
My reasons for not sharing yet are pretty much the same, I'm still fiddling with it. Are your intake flanges going to accept 1.5" tubing as well or just the exhaust? I'm currently thinking mild steel because that's what I can weld with my equipment, the alternative is to go aluminium and pay someone to weld it all up for me.

It's all set up for 1.5 x 0.065 tubing. I actually made a set of the intake flanges in both steel and aluminum.

Here's what I have mocked up to check for clearances. This is not how it'll end up as the runners would be WAY too short. I'll probably throw a 90` elbow in there and put the rounded part facing up; closer to the hood.

Very close to what I've designed! I may be interested in a set, how thick are they? I designed them to be machined from a 25mm thick bar. I'm after lowest profile possible because I want my manifold to wrap up over the rocker cover and leave all the space that side for a turbo exhaust manifold.
