Thanks for the info, looks like my first guess will work with those clamps then.
My reasons for not sharing yet are pretty much the same, I'm still fiddling with it. Are your intake flanges going to accept 1.5" tubing as well or just the exhaust? I'm currently thinking mild steel because that's what I can weld with my equipment, the alternative is to go aluminium and pay someone to weld it all up for me.

PM me your email address if you want those drawings. I can send them in pretty much any format.

There is enough material to drill a hole crossways and bolt the clamp to the rail. I usually weld the clamps to the fuel rail when I've got it set where I want it.
(edit)Picture-> http://www.rossmachineracing.com/imag ... injassmwithinjectors4.jpg The square (exhaust) ports just show the detail better than the oval (intake) ports, that's why I posted that particular picture. All 16 ports are lofted like that. I'm going to do a more formal write-up when I get closer to being finished. I'll have dimensions and CAD drawings and I might even make a few sets to sell if there is enough interest. I don't want to give a lot of detail since I change my mind a lot.

That is for the exhaust?
Im trying to make a model my self while you take a beat ad it then :) I'm using Autodesk Fusion 380, quite brilliant program, but not able to import the file dxf... So I have printed the photo and taking a couple of measurements extra for notes so it will be easier to draw/make.

Why do they have square ports? No A-series head has square intake ports?

Wow these look great, what ports do they suit? I'd be interested in a set or what you think they might cost? Are you going to share the drawings with anyone free? Looks fantastic!

I thought the same thing until I looked at the plates that were on my car and saw they didn't clear the rocker cover either. Doesn't leak, just pushes it over a bit. Only leak I had was when I forgot to tighten the screws....
How do the clamps work? Is there enough material in the fuel rail to drill a through hole for the clamp? At $15- it's not really worth putting time into redesigning it. I haven't bought any components yet so that part was a bit of guess work at the moment. Re sharing, I want to get get it to a finished state so there's no half baked versions kicking around. All I'd really hope to get out of it is a few sets of machined parts that I can use. I'm working on the rest of the manifold as well to suit NA and turbo applications. Edit: I'm using NX.

Damn this looks SO good...
Now I'm totally in on making a set of my own xD I don't have access to a mill tho... EDIT: you wouldn't share the CAD file you got there, would you? ![]() You can view topic.
