Enzo always said the finely-tuned engine was music enough for a great car. On that thought this discussion is telling

you want to hear nice engine note,i've got a cd of race cars owned by nick mason, track 5 is a 1956 brm 1.5 litre v16 with two stage supercharging, this is the f1 car that had the record for most hp per litreuntil the turbo craziness of the 80's.it is AWESOME.the cd is from the book INTO THE RED,& is two laps of the donington curcuit, from the pits,as the car kept frying any recording equipment in car.to say it's loud is an extreme uderstatement,& it lasts for 5 minutes.there is actually 3 distinct engine notes as the car revs out.this is the best track to play in car in traffic,as everyone is wondering what the hell it is.most guess top fuel rail.& there are another 12 tracks on the cd,ranging from 1900 racer to mid fifties d type jag,to mid sixties ferrari,to mid 80's tyrell f1,& porsche 956.& the books an excellent read as well.bunny.

In my old 1200 coupe i was running a 4x25 kenwood CD tuner, Kicker mids and splits with crossovers, Pioneer 6x9 3ways, 2 15inch rockwell subs (Which sat neatly in the boot with no space left mind you) powered by a 400W Power Acoustic amp. It was loud
