other than the rooted oil ring in my car the rest of the setup i have is awesome andrew deniss did the conversion for me he did an awesome job on my car hes a great resource for this type of conversion and any other one to a datto so if u need any help regarding this conversion on a 1200 ask andrew hes the best!! (sorry andrew LOL)

Hey datto_dave,
I probably should have mentioned that Steve is also in Brisbane, and his race car is a 1200 coupe with CA18DET. He uses a remote clutch master mounted under dash I think. He can probably help source the motor too.

I used to run a holley red it was very noisy too when i upgraded to the porshe EFI pump I also upgraded to a carter black 110gall per hour its a lot quieter and dosnt run out of puff keeping the surge tank full I dont use a brake booster I find a nice hard pedal better. A lot better feel when racing

the hydraulic clutch conversion is simply a matter of using the complete clutch pedal assembly and master cylinder that comes with your front cut. if you don't have a front cut you can buy them from importers for about $30.

after laying on my head all day I have finally got the clutch pedal and master cyl in and Im happy with it
It lines up perfect.
I found a 180b cylinder that is has a 5/8 bore
and it fitted well
