Considering putting a turbo EFI A12 in my track only Locost 7. Aiming for a combined weight (including driver) of <500kg.

I have an H150 in the car at the moment and the following gearboxes are available: 4 and 5 speed 60A and a 3T Toyota (Dellow).

Any recommendations based on experience whether the 60A's and diff will hold together with such a package?

Advice appreciated!

Sure the 60A and H150 can handle it - the A15 EFI engine used both. As long as you keep the torque within limits, no problem. Could probably run as much as 10 psi boost as long as you limit the amount of boost below 5000 rpm (building to 10 psi at 6000 RPM)

Of course an A12 turbo can put out twice that torque so you may want to use stronger running gear, then you could use 14 psi at 3000 rpm (with the stock A12 long block)
