Those injector bosses are machined into the flange adapter. It's all one piece.
This particular manifold came from a 1995 Mercury Tracer (USA). It was rated at 92hp 100tq. The runners are 32mm ID 38mm OD mandrel bent tubing and are about 29 cm long after I cut them off and cleaned them up. The plenum is 54mm ID 60mm OD tubing with a stamped cap on one end. The stock throttle body is ~40mm. It's a fantastic starting point especially since I only paid $24 at a local salvage yard.

Damm that looks good!
LOVE your rail/holder :O what is the length between the flange and the rail? Great design, would like to make a set of my own... are you mounting them with one long bolt through the middle? or do you screw it into to flange?

Quote:
38.1mm (1-1/2"), which is strange since the injector is stock for a 2004 Honda Civic Si. It's the same length as a "GM LS2" injector.

you should,nt rap your manifold it will crack over time , get it ceramic coated to contain the heat in the pipes. I have done mine and works well

This is roughly what I have in mind but I might change my mind again before I get to building it. Depends on where I land with the turbo exhaust manifold. I do like the idea of keeping as much of it away from the turbo heat as possible. Even the heat off the headers/ extractors is significant.

Here's some pics of the exhaust manifold and how I would like to see it go together. I'll probably have to change the design a bit as I figure out how I'm going to make it but the main ideas are there.

I like the design but I have no idea how you'd actually make one short of investment casting or lost wax/foam casting.

I've been thinking about it, I think I can approximate it with tube and sheet metal. Maybe next week I'll get some more time on it. I looked into 3D printing it but I think it's cost prohibitive (like 2-4k) which is a bit more than I'd be willing to spend. Traditional sand casting or wax would both work but I can't do that. I could probably print up moulds.
Anyway, I'll think about it a bit more. You can view topic.
