Dash question.
Was installing new dash pad on the ute today in the panel shop. All the lights are out. I didn't test anything before I pulled everything apart.
I think I've put something back on wrong..When I pull the head light switch out both indicators on the dash light up.what have I done?

That can happen if the instrument cluster is not bolted to the body (either the dash frame is not bolted to the car, or the gauge cluster is not bolted to the dash frame). The panel lights require the cluster to be earthed
