Horn wiring question

He guys,

can anyone tell me how the horn wiring from the steering wheel is intergrated into the rest of the wiring?just curious.

horns are usually switched on the earth side unlike everything else in your car. This caught me out the first time I had to trouble-shoot one.

The horn only takes a single positive input and earths to the body through the mounting bolt.

They are typically also have a permanent power supply, ie no need for the key in the ignition to provide power.

* Fuse 'H' is in the fuse box
* Earth for the horn is just the fact that it's bolted to the core support panel
