Hi Guys

I had a problem starting my b210 last week, checked carburetor float ball was empty, found that fuel pump doesn't pump fuel to the carb, i took at apart and found it is working so as it happened earlier i filled the pump liver with copper and it started working after that, and later found that my float level of the carb have gone up
is that the reason that fuel pump sucks lot of of fuel than earler ?
do i need to adjust the carb float or can it be adjusted from fuel adjustment screw ?

thanks
regards
sumith

Yes, a high float level will cause more fuel to be burned (rich mixture)

It can only be adjusted by taking the top off the carburetor. The adjustment screw only adjusts the idle mixture, and won't affect the cruise mixture. See Float Level Adjustment

If the float level is too high, lower the float (bend the float tang to increase gap between float & cover

Part of checking float level is to perform a Fuel pump pressure test first in case too high of pressure

If it is more than 1mm above the dot, it is too high. Check while engine is idling
