Sorry, can't help you with that one you'll have to ask the workshops.

Why don't you get a second hand CA18DE now, and then rebuild your DET when you can afford it?

Where'd you get your first motor from?

I wouldn't turbo a CA18DE if you want reliability. The internals will be weaker and compression too high.

Whats wrong with your CA18DET? Maybe you'd just be better off spending your $$ on a rebuild.

having trouble wit the ca18det it was farked from when i got it and im into thinking ill have a greater chance at getting a better quality motor by getting a ca18de, anyone know whether they mount the same etc etc (s13) the only difference is the turbo correct? are the pistons etc different and if i wanted to later could i put a turbo on easily??? (this will be way down the track coz im at uni id rather reliability for now... thanks guys!! hope ur ok bent axel bob good luck to all canberrans
