Yes Deep Purple are AWSOME old skool rockers!!! Anyone saw a program called 'Classic Albums' on tv? Its all about classic rock albums that have been released in that era, its wicked and they had Machine Head (sixth studio album). This of course has the classics Highway Star, Smoke on the Water and Space Truckin' (which wasnt meant to make the cut!) on it.

You see im the kinda person who likes a band for their musical talent & and trueness not for their presence or image to the press/media (that just make the music industry a plastic, fake way of life..sorry i feel strongly about this )

But anyway yeah the Datsun's rock! I remember hearing them live on JJJ and they sounded wicked, big fat chunky riffs n chords and then the nice i reckon alike to Slash or Jimmy Page solos!!

Thats awsomel matbighat!! The Datto song!!!

I was lucky enough to see The Datsun live at a pub in town before they hit it big and I must say it was a very good night!!
