Hi, i was wondering if someone could measure the height of the output shaft or a 1200 trans from the top of the tunnel ?

Because the previous owner of my car had an 63A 5 speed trans (I supposed) and removed the trans support from the tunnel. Now i have to make new one since he sold the 5 speed and when i bought the car it came with the oem 4 speed.

I have to make new mounts and bolt them inside of the tunnel, i want to be sure i put it in the perfect height.. So if someone could take or have the measurement that would be sweet.. I have an automatic tunnel so would love the measure from an auto tunnel in case the height is different and from the top of the tunnel to the center of the output shaft..

Thanks you very much !

Few of us (if any) have automatic tunnel with 4-speed installed

Best way is to measure the gearbox angle. It should match the diff pinion angle. Get the gearbox level (with the pinion) then fix the brackets in place
