Wow how time flies by. I got the stereo up and running...it's the spray job that's holding me back.
I haven't given up yet, but it's going to be close. Might just do a quick tidy up on the original paint for now. Better check my roster though and see if I've got that weekend off.

Ok the two dates for the BBQ are now either Sat 4th or Sun 5th of March. (11/12 is a long w/end so we'll avoid that one )

I'll decide from the amount of feedback on a date, as to which one to go for.

Back to the shed

PS Hows the progress cadet1200? - you have just over 2 months (tick tick tick)

Not a bad idea really, that's having another jam job on the roof lol Also beads a rear windscreen after someone was kind enough to throw a rock through it the only night it's ever been parked out front. Spewing.

What are you running around in these days Zig?? Been awhile now!!

I'll say challenge accepted at this stage. Although ute has been sitting neglected for a
couple of months now and I tried to get it going today with no luck. Thought fuel pump
must have died as couldn't hear it pumping, but have isolated problem to the fuel pump
relay not getting earth from the ECU. Ran out of light so will continue on tomorrow...
hopefully I just need to re-crimp the wire

Update: got the motor running again. Had to bypass the earth lead from the ECU. Looks like
I will need to send ECU for repair as it is not switching to earth to prime the fuel lines.

So is the drift machine fixed or are we using your coupe this time

At the moment the Drift trike is working fine ( new clutch $8 new pullstarter $15 )
and plenty of wheel ring left . The Coupe maybe ready if not for the A15/60a 5spd ( depends how good the waves are this summer
You just consentrate on getting yours done. Challenge - if you get yours ready a week before this BBq, mine wil be done to.
