They are fine re the IPRA rules. Must be the same type of spring(ie, coil or leaf) and the same location as original.
The car has a watts link, I'll soon find out if I need to run anti tramp bars.

I haven't checked IPRA rules in several years, but it always used to be the springs had to be of the same material as OEM??

I too would very much like to hear Simon's comments once he has had a chance to fit them and test the car.
The one thing that would really concern me with running these is the side loading forces compared to the strength of steel. With those aluminium eyes just being held in by 2 bolts each end how would they handle the forces being generated by a race car during hard cornering? Would those bolts wear away inside the fibreglass holes and eventually let go? I guess if the rear is held in place by a Panhard bar or Watts linkage that would help. Thoughts? Cheers Dave

But where you going to get a Volvo 360? Rare as (never sold in USA, long gone in AUS), while you can buy new Flex-Forms for $425

I think having 2 sets is important Simon as I noticed over time small fractures are unavoidable in Corvettes, skiis, snowboards, snowmobile blades and tennis racquets :)
Its gonna be ace as even the roadster boys in the states use a steel monoleaf from a volovo 360glt and it improves the ride and performance exponentially from conventional layered ones. The only thing that is missing from the 1200 club is some professional angles of your beast one day when you have time some stylish pics will be great eye candy.

Simon, I will be looking forward to seeing your review of the leafs! :)
Have been considering buying a set for a long time, but the uncertainty comes from no one having ever done it and given some good feedback on the performance.

I cant wait to get them on the coupe and do some track testing. I'll do a write up on the differences compared to the steel ones on it now. Thanks heaps Guys, Simon

Nah Justin youre the top bloke you are the first to go out there
to get them into Oz and then sell them for peanuts for the boys. I was ready to auction to 1000 but they are for a good cause for a 1200 to kick IP dominating Hondas into the weeds! Good luck Simon may the 1200 force be with you and keep the best racing stories anywhere in years coming along.
