Nicely done 4AGE engine/trans/rear swap with lots o' goodies at a believable price.
Owner even swapped over the 4AGE instrument cluster, thankyouverymuch.
Will likely terrorize any $40,000 hot hatch it comes across, all the while looking like a $2,000 daily driver that your grandpa gave you for your high school graduation back in the day.

All of the mechanicals look pretty good or at least what you can see. With the rust repair my thought is it won't bring anywhere near the asking price, for better or worse our cars aren't worth that much. They haven't the following of 510s or Z cars and I don't recall any 1200s going for more than 7K other than immaculate Utes imported from Japan.

Tom, next time I have lunch with Jay Leno, I'll mention the nearly forgotten (to the auto universe at large, anyway) 1200 to him. Once he gets interested and builds out a modded Ford V6 Ecoboost powered 1200 with Corvette suspension, that should see a rise in prices of our 1200 inventories. Re: the car in the advert, depending if the rust repair is a botched job or not, his ask is a good start point to negotiate...downward.
