I don't know what's more impressive, the manifolds or the throttles

So what will the full setup cost. Am I right in saying that this is the first bespoke EFI setup for A series engines?

dd, that's what I'm making :)
1. edit will not be quite as slim, as I first need a working prototype. But CAD model makes it easy to remove excessive material and end up with something slimmer and better looking.

datster, you would be right in saying that I haven't got a price on the total set yet. I expect it to be around 150-200 euro for the throttle-body but can't say anything with certainty.

I might have spoken too soon, to be honest. After doing some math the manifold/throttle body would need to be 34mm to match the surface area of an oval port. I'll have a look and see if I can make the design 33mm to lean towards the bigger port, but still, fit an std round port head. This makes the throttle body also fit okay on an A14 I would believe?

These are round-port manifolds

If your A15 head is a round-port type, it will fit after drilling & tapping hole:

Hole #4 in this diagram. May also need the plugs

Hello again everyone. Sad news...

I will be making a couple of sets soon, but the company that I was talking with, that should produce the units just raised their price because of high demand and trouble with keeping everything on a schedule...
It's an insane price increase and the production run will now cost around 160 euro pr. set.

I have used the past two days e-mailing with them about the problem, but they have ordered a bunch of new machines to keep up with demand and when they arrive price will drop again. But that's 6 months away... Not much to do about it ad this moment.

I'm SO sorry... I had really hoped to be able to deliver this ad a good price for you all.

Toby

Still seems really low pricing for a pair.
