Have any of these come on the market lately?
DD used to post them reasonably often but I haven't seen anything for a long time or is Peter Zekert stock piling them all?

Dave sorry I'm just chiming in I was prepping for a track day.

Including Peter's 2 cars I believe there still may be as many as 18 running a mix of National & Regional events running Improved Touring, H Production & GT-Lite. There are another 6 or 7 running vintage.

1200s are in weird place in America; if they had the same collectability as 510s or 240Zs there would be more of them racing vintage and also more them engine swapped and turned into track day whores..

You are correct that none of them have come up for sale in a while.

So far 1200s haven't really achieved the value of other Datsuns or at least here in the USA.

Part of the value, I think is perception, I've had 4 people be dismissive of 1200s than after seeing mine run at vintage events do a 180 and take a second look at them.

It could also be like me, they've had the cars for so long that the wife considers them part of the family and forbid selling the car.
