Iwas out looking for a little [bakkie] ute as i've had enough of my 2006 strada and so i checked out the suzuki carry.I noted that the suzuki carry had nice shocks with ventilated discs up front and i'm just wondering if they will work on a datsun 1200.Any idea from the chaps working on shocks --supafatto etc

Anything can be made to fit. I've not looked into it as we don't see many here.
Common would be to convert to like the s13 disk brake front on the 1200 struts

I used Navara 720 front shocks for the rear of my 1000 wagon
they suited well as I lowered the wagon and newish stock ones
were too long with less comp strength once lowered.
Matt who owns it now is also happy with them and should suit
the 1200 rear if lowered but if possible best to go to an
auto shop and see that many do surprisingly fit so then go
online and get what you need or best nearest wrecked car

D i was just wondering ---when i looked at the suzuki carry the wheels were turned so i got a good view and it got me thinking -- is it the same at the top? Is'nt it to short? etc etc.I'll probably be getting one[ute] by middle of this week.I liked the Strada but can't go on struggling with parts. The strada has been discontinued here in S,Africa so it's back to the jap vehicles. Oh Chev has also packed up and left --don't know if it's sales or politics --suppose both cos things are'nt to good --Zimbabwe here we come
