I am looking at the tech wiki and there's quite a lot of pictures replaced by an error saying to update your photobucket account.
What's wrong?

Not much chance
Likely p-bucket will fall over and die soon enough as no-one will support it anymore
The reason to have a bucket account is to hotlink elsewhere... hence why they even had a tag to do it

All forums are suffering the same fate
Have to find other options

I've got copies of all the photos, I'll see about moving them

In the meantime, it appears that it still shares the thumbnails ... does it appear for you?

I tried to make a quick fix -- by changing all the PhotoBucket links to small thumbs. Did it work? Try B140 Photo Cache

I haven't been happy with PB for a long time, but with the medium-size hosted images, I was OK. Now that that's gone I want to rehost the photos, maybe right here it's only 29000 photos so will only double the size of the club Photo Album

PB
* fast hosting
* Very Slow to open and display the PB page
* ads that randomly open and cover parts of the page

well I got a new tab to 5 pages of B140 thumbs that individually took me to Photo bucket.

was that what you expected?

the thumbs previously gave this error and I had to individually hit the "Full" on the lower right corner of each to display the actual photo in PB.

it seems I was able to get rid of most of the "temporarily disabled" things on most wiki articles
