Hi Guys

I have uploaded my video on it it idles little time then again the same problem , i have replaced 2 vacum hoses also (manifold and distributor to carb)
what should be checked any more does it cause this when leaking manifold to carb packing ? or is it bad slow jet on my carb ? what do you guys suggest me to check further ????

Is leaking Port B can cause this issue i remember it does not have a hose clamp on it

Sure, a leak in any hose can cause idle problem

Hose Clamp is not required if the connection is tight. But if the host fits loose, then the clamp can fix it

I just checked the PCV Valve when i put a pin into it i felt it was having a small piece which moves back and forth , and also feels there is a spring inside, but when i take my pin away it does not come out completely , but i can see it , but when the car is starting it comes out completely and goes inside , when i keep my hand i felt it is having a vacuum on it,

Also took the carb apart and check the play on carb door pins , i felt one side has bit of play inside the ping (Yelow Color pointed side on the image ), i just put some fuel from outside to that pin and checked from inside that fuel leaked into inside immediately , do i need to have new bush pin for it ? is it the cause for my car cant stay idle ?

what do you think ?

Hi Sumith, the PCV should be free (loose) when shaken or when prodded. Only when vacuum is applied does it close up more fully. The spring action should be intact (but it is a very weak spring action)

To test if the PCV is causing the idle problem:
* Pull hose off PCV valve. This hose ventilates the crankcase, so leave it open to the air
* Plug the end of PCV valve with a rubber cap
[EDIT:] OR cover the end of the valve with a piece of duct tape or electrical tape

You can drive around for days like that and the engine will run good. Of course, the block ventilation is no longer positive

If it makes no difference to the idle consistency, the PCV is not the problem

Hi DD

I checked the car by closing PCV Valve by hand it did not make any difference so , i went to a lathe shop to check the carburetor door and connected parts he said door is good but the door pin is bad (yellow colored pin on the above image) said must be leaking air through it to cause the car to stall because it is having a play,

Today i will get it back after repair i will fix it and see how it is today and let you guys the status,

can any one tell where should i connect this small port to , i have just kept it closed is it going to air cleaner small tube ? Please check this image

The small port on the block Breather Tube is unknown. Keep it plugged.

Ok all good made it fixed the carburetor tuned it and went a test run it looks good so far no problem again
