If you're running points ignition, check the spark, gap and whether or not they're burnt out.

Also check for vacuum leaks. A piece of hose in the ear is a great tool for this.

Have a look in the window on carburettor see where your fuel level is at When running and not running. Sounds a little like your float level needs adjusting.
Sorry just reread that you said float level looks fine. You said you cleaned the carby. Did you pull it apart to do so ? If so have you set the idle and mixture to base settings Have you checked the timing it may be a little retarded.

Hi Guys
I have a problem with my b210 , it does not idle smooth, if i keep the idle higher it will stay for sometimes and suddenly rpm drops and engine stalls, when idling its rpm goes up and down a little , i have cleaned the whole carburetor Everything looks good including float level vacuum hoses etc , while driving no knocking backfiring or miss, it goes perfect but cant keep idle unless keep the leg on the gas pedal little higher than normal, what do you guys suggest me to see, is it my carburetor door which is not closing well ?if so how can i bench test it ? thanks regards sumith You can view topic.
