Up for grabs is my 1973 Datsun 1200 Coupe. Also known as a b110, Sunny or kb110.

I will be moving and feel like it is blasphemy to take a pre-smog car out of California.

I have only had the car since spring, but in the short time I've owned it I had the head machined and cleaned up by Hubbard Machine. They were recommended by Mr. Rebello so they are very reputable. I replaced the starter and alternator as well and it has a new battery. I have inner and outer tie rods in boxes waiting to be installed, and a new water pump.

The car runs great, shifts flawlessly, and handles incredibly well. The car only weighs 1600 pounds.

As of right now, the rear running lights are working on and off (brake lights work). All other running lights work. Because of this, I will only show the car in the day.

I hesitate to do this but I am putting my 1972 Datsun Sunny Coupe up for sale. I moved here from Oakland back in November with the car in tow and it has been in my garage hiding from old man winter. It has been a California car it's entire life till then. The car runs and drives great, starts up just fine and idles smoothly. Some carb tuning will need to be done - Accelerator pump jets need to be dialed in. Overall, this is a very reliable and drivable classic that turns a lot of heads. Nobody knows what it is and conversations start up everywhere.

- Head was resurfaced, cleaned and inspected by Hubbard Machine south of Oakland and was recommended by Rebello Racing. (Hubbard was the go-to-source for all things race related for the 1200 sunny racers in the area) This work was done last summer.

- New Battery
- New Master + Slave done by Dons Auto Body in Milwaukee in November before it went into hibernation. Don is a prominent area Datsun mechanic who maintains many of the area Datsun race cars.
- The Sunny virtually rust free. The only spots it has are surface blemishes/stains under the window gutters and in the engine bay. There are no rust holes or rust issues that need attention. There are some small dings here and there, and the roof has some small dents.
- All interior and exterior lights work, however, the either the wiper switch or motor may have kicked the bucket.

Other parts that are waiting to be installed are inner and outer tie rods, front blinkers, a backup clutch w/bearing, an extra water pump, and front and rear bumpers (need resto). I also have a raw rear spoiler that needs some love, and a new grill on the way from Greece.

Placing a value on this car is very difficult since there are virtually no coupes in this condition for sale in the united states. The value of the car is based on the modifications, rarity, and lack of rust. I am not in a hurry to sell, nor do I need the money, just need to free up space.
