Hi Guys

I have a problem with my started sometimes solenoid clicks does not rotate the starter motor
i went under the car and gave a hammer then it started , i have come o cross slimier situation in my both b210 and b310 , what should be checked ? checked all the cables and battery terminals all are ok and clean

That sounds like a problem with the starter motor. Worn brushes in the motor.

Yes, worn brushes are inexpensive to replace. Or, sometimes the clicking is caused by an oxidized (burnt) contact disc inside the Solenoid. If you can unsolder the solenoid wire you can disassemble the solenoid and sand the disc like new. Here in USA it is cheaper to replace the starter than to fix it ($32 for a used starter or $30 for a new one)
