This auction has dozens of photos which may be useful for someone wanting to source their own parts. Of course you can buy a NEW set but if you have good wrecking yards nearby why not use them?

This set was designed for R12 freon, but can use the (now out of date) R134A, which was common from about 1994-2016. So no worries about getting refrigerant

It uses a modern swash-plate type compressor, and similar/same units may be in your local scrapyards on other Japanese cars

The factory 1200 bracket (from 1979-up) fits the modern type compressor. There are some newer compressors that are smaller, but are generally of the same type

It bolts to the manifold side of the engine. So it won't fit a 1970-1973 A12, but you can make your own compressor brackets

* Bracket 593017 6100 w/low-mount tensioner
* Differs from B310 brackets

Compressor is the modern style swash plate (radial) design. It is a KKDC (Diesel Kiki) unit. These were Nissan factory parts

Compressor has low-side and high-side lines and a wire for the electric clutch (same as new compressors). It is marked R12 but can take R134A if the appropriate oil is introduced to the system (bolt everything up, evacuate the system, add R134A and oil)

* Clutch # 509631

* Compressor # 509615 3924
* Type: DKS (Diesel Kiki Swash)
* Part 509630

The 1200 used twin condensors -- the radiator-like part of an aircon system. The cores are both 283 x 244 mm. The one to the side of the radiator uses an electric pusher fan

Unfamilia noticed that the Lancer CB uses a similar condenser, just wider. The brackets are removable so the condenser can be fitted easily

matching double-belt pulley

This bracket is the most common one, always on sale on Yahoo. Used on Datsun 1200 1979-1994 JDM. it's a beauty -- no NVH here. With lightening holes but ribbed for strength. The only way it could be better is if it was light alloy instead of cast iron. Has integrated tensioner pulley

The bracket to replace the square York compressor (USA and AUS original equipment) with a modern lightweight Sanden compressor is $60 at Summit Racing

Since the block area where it bolts is basically flat, you could use the generic Sanden bracket with an adapter plate -- might be useful if you don't have a Aircon setup to begin with. Somehow you'd have to figure out how to fit and Adjuster idler pulley

New Compressor with bracket $195

For square York compressor. Kinda heavy and antique looking but exactly period and used on all the muscle cars ....
