In September 1971 the first VCR came out (Sony U-matic) so we can now watch those early TV commercials

A comment on the video says this was the last Nissan to use a triangular window (vent window) except for Nissan Century & Nissan President. Is that true?

That's from the Indian-driving-a-1200 commercial. The Sunny-chan screenshot on the Nissan '72/3 brochure looks like he's holding a spear?

Looking at the cover again it seems that each column is from a TV commercial (first column=Nissan Cedric, fifth column=Datsun 1200)

1st column: 230 Cedric 4-door hardtop
2nd column: C110 Ken & Mary Skyline (e.g. YouTube: Ska commercial)
3rd column: E10 Cherry 1000/1200 (FF=Front engine, front drive)
4th column: 610 Bluebird-U
5th column: B110 Sunny 1200 "Sunny has heart"
6th column: Nissan motto "Nissan aims to harmonize people and cars" shown at the end of some commercials. There is a university paper on the net that says this is Nissan "Corporate Identification" communication in the era of noise-regulation and pollution-regulation

my 1984 720 ute has them too, as did my previous 1985 MK SWB Patrol (pictured). That model continued for another couple of years, and early GQ (Y60) Patrol cab chassis models had them as well up to about 1990. Knowing Nissan, they were probably using up the last of the MK (G160) door frames in the new model - doors were interchangeable across both models.

V8-powered Nissan President
Z-car with straight-six engine
And interesting that they continued selling the 510 even after the 610 came out
