I know this is not Datsun related but I need some advice that I can give to my sister.She recently bought a hr holden from Victoria and to get rego on NSW plates has had to get a few things fixed because it needs to have an engineering cert for NSW.So they cant read the chassis number we'll at the moment.Is there a loop hole that would help if they cant retrieve it?

Isn't the chassis/ vin number or what wver it was called in the 60s on the rego papers? If so I seem to recall there being a couple of places selling new ID tags for old holdens online, the body its self (if I remember right) doesn't have anything other than the aluminium tag that's riveted on.
