and now for the top enchilada ... the GX. Early B210 GX (H52) came exclusively with the A12T twin-carb engine
Is the orginal finish the red bubble finish, or the red flat finish? Notice the GL/GX badges bolt to the panel finisher, while the STD/DX bolt to the sheet metal

better photos of the deLuxe rear badges
same pin placement as the others, but shape is unique so doesn't fit with the GL/GX blackout panel

B110 Datsun 1200 GX had a blackout rear panel
![]() B210 one-upped it by applying it to GL as well as GX. Faded in this photo

Datsun B210 debuted in Japan before the rest of the world, maybe JAN 1973? vs JUL 1973 for export versions
* B210 sedan to NOV 1975 * KB210 coupe to NOV 1975 * VB210 van (early) to SEP 1975 succeeded by (K)B211 and the late VB210 Applied Model Code started with H50 instead of the H10 for B110. Aside from body parts, many H50 parts appear to be identical to H10 parts -- an unusual situation, it's almost like they wholesale updated the Part Numbers of the shared engine & suspension parts inherited from B110 The only engine was A12 -- the PB210 had the 1400 but was listed as a separate model. All H50 blocks had the "new" A12 with mid-mounted distributor

Which brings us to the close of the B211 sedan badges. The rear center badges are the same as early sedan -- except for the new GX-T badge
NO PHOTO The more I learn about the B210 the more I like it. Aside from the square dash that is ...

Late B210 (1976-1977) was available with either A12 or A14. If you bought the big engine version the neighbors would know because of the 1400 badge

Used by several late 70s/early 80s Datsuns including S110 "Gazelle/200SX" and S130 "280ZX" and B310 "Sunny/210"
The H74 part number means it was originally designed for the late 1975 Sunny
