JDM H89 uses:
* A,B 08223-83510 M8 x 35
* .C. 08223-82810 M8 x 28

Do they need to be these lengths? I’m using a redline side draught manifold and extractors.

8x1.25 in any length thats long enough I guess

Correct, you can use any length stud that's long enough. For the H89 stock manifolds, those lengths are optimal. But for an aftermarket manifold shorter or longer studs may be fine
