Been a while since I last posted. Howdy everyone.

My A15 Midget is doing all right. I have long wanted to upgrade the ignition. I have the "matchbox" distributor. It is old and has never been adjusted or upgraded. Does the job. But I do worry about the plastic bearing plate as well as the non-upgradable module. So I recently bought a rebuilt Hitachi D4F external box dizz to use with a GM HEI-style 4 pin module (like I have done with the Ford Duraspark dizz). So, the plan is to use it with these parts:

Low resistance coil (Pertronix 45011 Coil black (oil filled) 0.6 ohm) without ballast resistor

PerTronix D72000 Flame-Thrower HEI III GM 4-Pin Module w/ Multi-Spark/ Rev-Limit

PRIMARY GOAL:
1) A good dizz that is mechanically within spec and can be easily recurved to better work with my cam and is stable at 6000+ RPMs.
2) Powerful, reliable spark that is stable at 6000+ RPMs.
3) Rev control without bulk or extra modules.

SECONDARY GOAL:
Getting the carbs tuned to match the engine and might allow me to rev over 5500 cuz this thing should do that but does not quite make it now.

TERTIARY GOAL: Win the lottery. Admittedly off-topic here.

Before I go and order the coil & module I just want to check that this plan is sound and these parts are appropriate.

Plan seems sound to me. The multi-spark, rev-limiting module sounds good. The D4F has a better bearing plate, but is otherwise the same as the D4K. Both are recurved with the same parts

Yes, it may be the carbs -- any A15 revs to at least 5600 from the factory. The D4K (matchbox) revs to 8000. However it may be the coil, I worked on one A14 that had wouldnt rev over 3000 changing the coil fixed it with no other changes (not even the condensor)

Thanks. I'll follow through with the plan. Been putting off for a long time. Dizz arrived today. Pretty!
