The mini head is just an example and not the standard. I don’t plan on making a whole pile of power. Peter just said get the largest intake valve I can fit and then port match it :D

Turbo use.

But I will play with chamber shape for non turbo higher compression.models too.

I mostly want the ease of having my exhaust on the other side of the engine. I want a good flowing port design and a little more material to take a little extra boost if wanted.

You can call them Gamera, altruist turtle monster equivalent to Godzilla
Have one of your trick rover covers with turtle shell design on
the top and the word GamerAseries to avoid copyright issues :)

EDIT somehow lost the links Matt

anyways this head flows 500cfm as it but uses different canted angles
inlet and exhaust in which as they open they move away from the cylinder
walls and unshroud themselves which is high end racing stuff.

That's a pretty cool name.

I have a few other Items I want to make along with this. I am liking how those billet roller rockers look on some of those example heads posted.

If not then the Renault Sierra had a smaller same design ohv hemi engine
called the Sierra and used in most Renaults of the late 60s and 70s was
a fave of the Gordini Renault race cars (smaller bore than Toyota 2tc from 73-77mm)

just wondering Matt if you used Toyota 2tc rockers, could you make instead
a hemi style chamber for the crossflow head or Larry Widmer Nascar style chamber

great reading from genius engine builder Larry Widmer

Oh man I have been looking at all corners of the Motorsports world for ways to get the exhaust side done right. So far that LS Reaper head is the closest thing that I can do. The push rod locations are the hardest thing to overcome on this Block and Head. I can shift the exhaust valve over enough to design a rocker to accommodate the move. I wanted to keep factory valve train but that was a pipe dream.

The Hemi design is cool but I still have to see how much I can do with the pushrod port positions on the block.

On a side edit here. I do plan to change out the timing chain drive to an HTD belt system as well.

Matt if you haven't already look at E15 rockers, I think it would allow you to keep the push rods in the original position. The E15 vlalves are at a 30-45 degree angle to the rockers are built accordingly.

I have some rockers if that would help you out.

I was thinking the same about the E15 rockers could be made to work like the Renault engines very easily, the hemi heads have their advantages in top fuelers and Im sure would be quite a draw card for any datsun A series lover.
Noonan does some nice looking hemi heads

CFI hemi top fueler beauties...just nuts!!!

if not then these chambers might suit the usual A series valve layout for crossflow
Darn sexy looking chambers that only CNC can achieve!

I am just lost on what you guys are saying. I keep looking at the E15 cylinder head and. I cannot for the life of me get my minds eye to see how those rockers would work.
