Crazy ... wonder how they got the engine under the seat

I notice it says on the outside V Sunny

They sold the Vanette in USA for three years. They squeezed in the biggest engine possible, and had overheating problems ... and many fires ... and ended up buying them all back and crushing them

It wasnt reliable because Nissan USA stuffed too big an engine in there (the Z24) and it didn't have enough air space around it. At the time all the other minivans had 2.5 liter engines so Nissan USA thought they had to have one too. Although in Japan it had the LD20 which is as big isn't it?
