75.5mm pistons and 83mm stroke is strange if derived from a H series
as the H series engines all have massive bores around 85-92mm bores

K engine I think is a reworking of the H engine but with L-ported pushrod head. Same stroke as the H20

Since it comes in sizes up to 2.5 liter it definitely is not based on the A-engine. The K15 is the destroked, derated version that can run flat out all day long

Ummm
Does it have the same bore spacings as an A15
The Stroke is 1mm longer, bores 0.5 bigger
Could it be a reworked A15 engine?
Would love to see the head pattern and crankshaft
to see if its possible to use those parts in an
A14 or A15 block as the head design looked good
on the K25 but no idea of the K15 visually.

Considering A15 engines are so rare now this
could be an awesome upgrade

I totally forgot that Mitsubishi was sold as Dodge here in the U.S. which is really funny considering I owned a Plymouth Arrow for a few years.

from another members post

"Last A14 I built in the early 90s used some sort of Mitsubishi piston - looks like it was a G32B piston. 76.9mm, 33mm Comp ht and 19mm pin. It was about .040" oversize for the A14 and with .020 or .030" (.5-.75mm) milled off the crown - really just the outer edge to get the comp height down. Trawl through an ACL catalog... Way cheaper than getting stuff made."

whats the bore and stroke of stock K15?
Ive always thought the chevy hemi 2ltr L4
was the only option to emulate a good OHV
but with more capacity than the A series.

Toyota guys are lucky the 7k series was
1,781 cc or 1.8L and able to change to
Liteace 2.0 & 2.2 ohv Y series
