I just discovered today I do not have an alternator bracket for an A12, I'm currently running a faabricted piece that works but I'm not crazy about it.

If anyone has a spare let me know.

Rally I will be working on a prettier version of the factory alt bracket, and block mount if you want to wait a while. The steel ones are a slight bit ugly.

My fabricated one is just all thread with rod ends. I've located the stock on which will work. They are ugly but do the job.

Matt when you make up a pretty one I'd be interested.

You mean the kind you have to rev up before it starts charging?

Morrisun had a couple of extras, one of which is now mounted on the car.

Matt I never tried any of the newer alternators because I have something like 5 spare alternators and the one on the car has been there since 1985. Granted my car has been a dedicated track car since 1989 and that alternator might have all of 30,000 miles on it.
