@nickmitty - I see your logic. I have come to realise that but it has taken me a while.

I work for a shed company and often get people who build their own sheds. They take months to put up and they always look wrong (Screw lines all over the place, flashing's not put on etc) all to save $6,000 when buying a $18,000 shed.

Meanwhile a builder can do a good job in 4 days.

people in the US are spending 60-130k usd for restomods
on once common budget cars without doing much themselves.

When I look at buyers of new BMW z3, z4 & 4 door sedans
over 50k and have endless issues with electronics, I laugh.

When someone knows they cant finish a car or many cars and
they prefer to spend less or same as those buying brand
new cars like in the above examples, then I say good choice.

In 3rd world countries many would love to have the chance
of doing their own cars up by themselves and yet that is
also the case in non 3rd world countries which is also great.

Either way the more content we see here the better it is for
a community that has been well organized and useful over the
years compared to bookface or other selfie shallow media.

Spoke to Ray , said the " Copper Spray " is
WURTH RUST-STOP QUATTRO 4 IN 1, PRIMER, ADHESION, CORROSION, WELD THROUGH
Said it was extra important to use when welding a seam or fold so that both
plates / sheets / lips dont rust or corrode rubbing or touching each other or use
when a sheet like a floor is sitting on a rail or brace etc . Said it comes in Zinc too
