Day 60 600 hrs roughly now , not including Jade on the wire brush , acoustics etc
Engine bay getting a wet rub after seam sealer in every nook n cranny

A splash of Datsun 821 White in the engine bay and around the edge of front window frame , so I can pop in the window soon

Finally . . doing the last section of rust repair. Passenger side rear , bottom back of the wheel arch. This is nasty and gone right through
To anyone thinking of getting your car professionally done , just remember Carnt quote rust repairs just on what you can see, there’s usually more repairers needed around than what is visible . Hence that’s were the money gets chewed up. A restoration/rust removed & replaced with fresh sheet metal isn’t a cheap venture. And do your homework on the panel beater. Demand plenty of photos . Before , during and after " Daily " As I have easily 500 photo,s. Pay progress money weekly or fortnightly. Dont be a goose and hand over a dirty big wad of money and expect your car back in a week like my brother did on his last car. My brother was burnt real bad. Perfection takes time and maybe think about over capitalizing on your project. cheers

Not much today , just hung the doors to get the hinges right with gaps Front hinges cleaned up Doors still need to come off for work But starting to look like a car

Gave the inner wheel arches a tidy up Squirt of some Raptor ( cargo liner ) down on the cargo tray , now needs to cure
