hi guys, my a15 has tee on the dipstick pipe with a 6 mm pipe running along the left hand side of the rocker cover, it has broken off after the mounting bracket.

I cant find any pictures or reference to this pipe to find out what is meant to be connected to it, any ideas?

Dipstick pipe

I've personally never seen one with a Tee fitted

The Datsun A-series engine does not use an oil return line. If your engine has one it may have been fitted for a turbo oiling system, although i've only ever seen those return lines attached to the oil pan

However i vaugely recall an old-school turboing method involved the dipstick google
