Hey guys, after a frustrating day trying 3 different alternators that were meant to be direct replacements, I'm looking for anyone with a working (as long as the bearings are ok and it was charging the last time you used it, I can replace brushes) hitachi alternator.
Willing to travel to melbourne outer suburbs and beyond if need be. PM or reply here.

Failing that anyone have a part number for a new replacement that actually fits and is sourceable here in melbourne? The ones I tried either placed the pulley 5-10mm forward of the correct position, or were larger diameter and fouled the radiator hose/outlet pipe coming out of the block.
